Nicolás joined Mesoamerica in 2024 as Manager. He has a background in general management, management consulting, and investment banking.

Prior to joining Mesoamerica, Nicolás was CEO of Just Burger, a fast-casual burger chain in Chile, scaling it from a 4-store concept to a 12-store operation in Chile and Guatemala, and led the sale of Just Burger to a Private Equity firm in 2024.

Before Just Burger, Nicolás was a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he participated in strategy, procurement, and productivity projects in the mining, telecom, and insurance industries. Additionally, he led a pro-bono project for Enseña Chile and participated in the MBA recruiting efforts.

While pursuing his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management, he interned at Amazon in Seattle for the finance team, where he worked on developing financial models for the electronics department.

Prior to his MBA, he formed part of the investment banking team at Itaú, covering M&A/ECM in the LatAm region and participating in transactions in the utilities, retail, and infrastructure industries.

Nicolás holds an Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management with majors in Finance and Managing Organization.
